Through discussion-based sessions, I will share techniques and processes to transform your current perspective during times of change, illness, feeling “stuck,” needing direction, structure, and clarity.
I have gone through many a life-changing time in my journey, and have committed to guiding others through theirs. My experiences include, but are not limited to:
Breast Cancer
Divorce
Moving internationally
Global business development
Un-hooking from the corporate world
Starting a new business
Work/life balance
Changing careers
Mental health practices
I’m here to support you as a compassionate, creative, problem-solving strategist and motivator.
Meditation and mindfulness is the number one tool in my mental health toolbox. In these modern times, we spend so much of our day stressed out and overwhelmed, many of us constantly in the “fight or flight” state.
Nearly all of us feel burnt out and wish we had more balance in our life. In a time where modern-day distractors are encroaching on our every waking moment:
Smart Phones
Smartwatches
Laptops
24-hour news at our fingertips
We find it more challenging to focus, feeling scattered and overwhelmed, which leads us further and further away from the present moment.
Mindfulness is the most powerful tool I know that everyone can access no matter their background, race, religion, financial situation, or environment. It can help us to increase our ability to regulate emotions, decrease stress, anxiety, and depression while allowing us to observe our thoughts and feelings without judgment.
When we practice mindfulness, we cultivate essential skills for human living: we learn to pay attention, calm down, and nurture joy. We make time for our own self-care in the middle of our busy days.
I offer one-on-one mindfulness coaching session. We explore breathing techniques, guided imagery, grounding techniques, and micro mindfulness practises to assist you in your day-to-day life.
“There is an Indian proverb or axiom that says that everyone is a house with four rooms, a physical, a mental, an emotional and a spiritual. Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time but, unless we go into every room every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not a complete person.” - Rumer Godden in A House with Four Rooms
This proverb right here changed my life.
In 2016 I decided to take my happiness seriously after retiring from my ten-year global corporate role--traveling 50 out of 52 weeks, and realising the money, the title, the cars, the purses, the THINGS, weren't making me happy. It was making me empty.
I decided that I would deep-dive into the "happiness" world, which resulted in the past four years of research, study, and practice. The key to happiness is to eliminate or minimise the sources of negativity in your life; these can include but are not limited to:
Money worries
Unhappy jobs
Romantic relationships
Difficult bosses or work environments
Bad habits and recurring cycles
Toxic friends and family (yes, we go there)
Once we identify what we need to let go of, we then look to add in the things that make you feel happier, the things that bring joy.
Disclaimer: when I first did this work back in 2016, I was asked the simple question; What brings you joy? Single-handedly it was one of the most confronting moments in my life. Because I didn't have an answer, I had nothing. I can only remember realising all I do is work; that was me; that was how I identified.
So don't worry if you don't know yet. We will explore that together. Two years ago, I wasn't a gardener; I couldn't even keep a cactus alive. Today I grow all my own herbs, vegetables, and flowers, and it is one of the greatest sources of happiness in my life.
While it may be said that happiness is a choice, it is also an emotional state of mind. If your emotional needs aren't satisfied, you will likely feel a rankling discontent, no matter how good your life appears on the surface. You can also learn how to be happier by simplifying your life, finding your ideal career, exploring your creativity, and creating deeper, more profound relationships.
The true art of happiness is to find happiness regardless of your life circumstances; however, from experience in life junctions, it is usually easier to start doing the things that make you happy and eliminating the little things that annoy and irritate you.
I offer one-on-one sessions where we work on happiness as a life method, not a destination.
With over 20 years in the corporate world and ten years in my global business development role, my mentor was key to my development as a leader, peer, and personally.
Having a mentor provides people with an open space to raise issues, tackle challenges, and nurture growth. As a mentor, I will share information about my own career path, the ups and the downs.
I will also provide guidance, motivation, emotional support, help with exploring careers, setting goals, developing contacts, and identifying resources. We will create an action plan together, outlining key goals and objectives, and work through implementation together.
I offer one-on-one sessions in person or via Zoom.
As I commenced my shift from the corporate consumerist world, I identified the need to add more creativity to my portfolio.
As a result, I started doing talent management of Magnus Hastings and the #gayface #rainbowrevolution project, resulting in a gallery pop up, featured billboards on Sunset Blvd, and a book deal launching Nov 2020.
My experience in brand and business development in the corporate world has given me the ability to use tried and tested techniques to help grow and develop your art and exposure to the outside world. As a talent manager, my role is to oversee the day-to-day business affairs of the artist. I advise and counsel talent concerning professional matters and guide you towards new opportunities and long-term plans which may affect your career.
I am available for project contracts and long term management.

I first encountered Kate at a point in my career where I was defining myself in a new role and new business. With little known about me at the time, she took me into her fold unwaveringly – I felt instantaneously more able & confident for having her in my corner, on my team, as my ally.
She often saw more in me than I did in myself in those important early months and years, coaching me and championing me to do more than I thought possible, celebrating every win along the way. Kate leads from a place of personal growth and experience. She is emotionally invested and connected with the people she works with and mentors, which fosterers incredibly rewarding & fulfilling partnerships to flourish. Though I no longer work with Kate directly, she continues to influence me in the way I operate & perform every day, spiritually and practically. She remains a guiding light for me in much that I do.
Kate is open, enigmatic, empowering and invested. She is a true champion of women - our power, our potential, our place.
Kate was, and remains, a formative figure for me both professionally & personally. The energy of Kate often hits you before she does. Those who encounter her will not easily forget the positive impact that she has on them or their journey.
